World Beyond Barriers didn’t start as a business idea — it started as lived experience.

For over 15 years, I’ve felt the itch to build something of my own. I explored a few multi-level marketing ventures, dabbled in contract work, experimented with online sales, and picked up lessons I never could’ve learned from a textbook. Along the way, I even earned a minor in Business Administration and briefly entertained the idea of launching a food truck (Indian tacos on demand, anyone?).

But my real passion isn’t just “business.” It’s building a life and income that works for my family — especially while navigating the unique joys and challenges of raising a special-needs child. That perspective reshaped how I travel, what tools I rely on, and how I move through the world.

There were moments I thought about quitting, but the entrepreneurial bug is like glitter — once it gets in you, it never fully goes away. So here I am: still curious, still experimenting, and now focused on sharing what I learn about accessible travel, everyday tools that genuinely make life easier, and the small steps that turn ideas into something real.
